The Psychotrauma Center at Herzog Medical Center in Jerusalem has doubled ist staff and treatment hours to meet the rising mental health needs of children and families accected by the ongoing conflict and thus traumatiziation. The clinic provides evidence based interventions, training, and research as services to communities and individuals before, during and after trauma. It serves as a multi-cultural center for Jews, Arabs and Christians. Tailored programs for specific groups link young adults and a community center with low intensity care were developed with the aim of rebuilding emotional safety and trust.
Dr. Yehezkel Caine, President of Herzog Medical Center in Jerusalem, will talk about the services of the medical center for the treatment of psychotrauma, its therapies, and programs.
